Soccer Recap: Pueblo South Takes a Loss

Pueblo South came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to the Pueblo County Hornets. Pueblo South haven't had much luck with Pueblo County recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Pueblo South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Pueblo County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pueblo South will head out to take on Pueblo Centennial at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pueblo Centennial will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last. As for Pueblo County, they are taking a road trip to face off against Pueblo East at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pueblo County will be up against Pueblo East's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.6 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
