Baseball Recap: Midway Extends Home Winning Streak to 16

Midway had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Atascocita Eagles on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Midway pushed their record up to 33-8 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Atascocita, their defeat dropped their record down to 33-12-2.
