Volleyball Recap: Madison-Grant Takes a Loss

Madison-Grant lost against Lapel back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Argylls lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Argylls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison-Grant was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Lapel work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-17, 25-20.

Lapel was led to victory by Bella Roland and Ohara Bledsoe. Roland had ten digs and four aces, while Bledsoe had five digs. Those ten digs gave Roland a new career-high.

Madison-Grant's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lapel, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison-Grant will challenge Oak Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lapel, they will square off against Alexandria-Monroe at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
