Softball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Capistrano Valley Cougars, falling 11-0.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Capistrano Valley, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-6 defeat against Trabuco Hills on the 22nd. As for Capistrano Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-5 win against Edison on the 25th.
