Football Recap: Northmor Wins Going Away Against Danville + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northmor). They put the hurt on the Danville Blue Devils with a sharp 37-12 victory on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Tanner Miley went supernova, rushing for 86 yards and two scores, while also throwing for 218 yards while completing 80.8% of his passes. Those 86 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Brad Bowlin got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Northmor proved: they limited Danville to a paltry 2.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Garrett Deisch for the heroic effort on defense: he. Northmor didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.8.

Northmor didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Conner Stockdale, Bowlin, and Brady Carr picked up one apiece. Bowlin got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Northmor now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Danville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
