Volleyball Recap: William Allen's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

William Allen hadn't done well against Louis E. Dieruff recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Canaries sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Huskies. This was payback for the Canaries, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

William Allen's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5-1. As for Louis E. Dieruff, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. William Allen will face off against rival Parkland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Louis E. Dieruff is set to challenge their familiar foe Allentown Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
