Basketball Recap: Times Squared Academy Comes Up Short

Times Squared Academy and Mt. Hope squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Times Squared Academy had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 73-72 to the Mt. Hope Huskies. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (66), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

The defeat snapped Times Squared Academy's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 18-6 record. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.2 points over those games. As for Mt. Hope, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Times Squared Academy nor Mt. Hope have any future games scheduled.
