Fowler piles up the points against Rocky Ford

In what's become a running theme this season, the Fowler Grizzlies gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They really took it to Rocky Ford for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-21 victory on the road. The score was close at the half, but Fowler pulled away in the second half with 36 points.

Fowler got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gracie Osborne out in front who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and four steals. Osborne hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Randi Maestas, who scored 11 points along with five steals.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Rocky Ford struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Fowler pulled down 16 offensive rebounds.

Fowler has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Rocky Ford, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fowler will challenge Walsenburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walsenburg is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Rocky Ford, they will head out on the road to challenge Rye at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rye is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
