Volleyball Recap: Harvard-Westlake Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Marymount

Harvard-Westlake faced Marymount in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Sailors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sailors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 25-22.

Karys Campos was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last five matchups.

Harvard-Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Marymount, their victory bumped their record up to 32-4.

Harvard-Westlake has already played their next contest (against Chaminade), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Marymount, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Bishop Alemany on the 2nd.
