Baseball Game Preview: Brooks Eagles vs. Lincoln Park Lions

The Brooks Eagles will square off against the Lincoln Park Lions at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Brooks has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Brooks is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Kenwood just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 11-2 to the Broncos.

Brooks saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikayle Haji, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Park won against Ogden International on Wednesday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Lions came out on top against Ogden International by a score of 8-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

The win got Lincoln Park back to even at 8-8. As for Brooks, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-10.
