Football Recap: Concord's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Concord lost against Newark back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders took a 16-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Concord fell to 6-1. As for Newark, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord will welcome St. Elizabeth at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Newark, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Conrad Science at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
