Football Game Preview: Collins Tigers vs. Sacred Heart Crusaders + Official Tickets

The Collins Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Sacred Heart Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Collins has given up an average of 35.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Collins is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 42-34 win over Perry Central last Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 27-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Forrest.

Despite the loss, Sacred Heart saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kaden Murphy picked up 55 receiving yards, and also threw for 82 yards and one TD.

Collins' win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Sacred Heart, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
