Basketball Recap: Luray Takes a Loss

If Luray was riding high fresh off their 55-19 takedown of Stonewall Jackson last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Luray Bulldogs were beaten by the Central Woodstock Falcons 53-22 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Luray's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Central Woodstock, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Luray will challenge Clarke County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Woodstock, they will take on Strasburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
