Ganado extended their postseason success on Thursday against Three Rivers. They blew past the Bulldogs 9-0. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by nine runs or more this season.

Jack Hurt was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bryce Ullman, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Cade Nixon, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

The win (which was Ganado's fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Three Rivers, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-7.

Ganado will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
