Recap: Cross Roads Bobcats vs. Martins Mill Mustangs
The Cross Roads Bobcats suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 79-35 loss at the hands of Martins Mill. Cross Roads has not had much luck with Martins Mill recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Martins Mill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jak Kinder out in front who went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 2 assists. Archer Schneider was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Cross Roads' loss was their 12th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-10. As for Martins Mill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-4.
Cross Roads will head out on the road to face off against Frankston at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Frankston presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cross Roads in Texas (Frankston is ranked 447th, while Cross Roads is ranked 1324th).
