Soccer Recap: Northbrook Takes a Loss

If Northbrook was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Cypress Creek last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Northbrook Raiders fell just short of the Cy-Fair Bobcats by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

They hit Cy-Fair with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaylyn Gomez, Sarai Sebastian, and Olivia Villareal.

Northbrook has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. The win got Cy-Fair back to even at 6-6.

Northbrook wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Jersey Village on the 14th. As for Cy-Fair, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Cypress Ridge on the 14th.
