With a playoff win on the line, St. Charles East rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 44-22 margin over the Lake Park Lancers. The victory was familiar territory for the Fighting Saints, who have now won ten matchups in a row.

St. Charles East found their leader in freshman Brooklyn Schilb, who to rack up 18 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Sofia O'Sullivan, who posted nine points.

St. Charles East's win bumped their record up to 26-6. As for Lake Park, their loss dropped their record down to 19-13.

Coming up, St. Charles East will take on Glenbard West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenbard West has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Lake Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
