Volleyball Recap: Simpson Academy Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hartfield Academy, Simpson Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Jackson HomeSchool Victors 3-0. The Cougars not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Simpson Academy never let Jackson HomeSchool on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 28-26.

Simpson Academy's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Jackson HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Coming up, Simpson Academy will welcome Jackson Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson HomeSchool, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hartfield Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
