Volleyball Recap: Hastings Comes Up Short

Hastings lost against Minden back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Whippets. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Hastings was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-12.

Kaisley Tillemans paced Hastings' offense, picking up ten kills. Tillemans got some help from Brittany Johnson and her 13 assists.

Hastings' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Minden, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Hastings didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Northwest on the 16th. As for Minden, they will challenge Gothenburg at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
