Basketball Game Preview: Virgin Valley Bulldogs vs. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights

Virgin Valley hasn't had much luck against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Virgin Valley Bulldogs will challenge the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Tuesday, Virgin Valley made easy work of Eldorado and carried off a 67-41 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus beat Canyon Springs 62-53 on Tuesday. Given the Blue Knights 's advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Pioneers are ranked 52nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Virgin Valley has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6.

Virgin Valley was taken down by Democracy Prep Agassi Campus 83-55 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Virgin Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
