Basketball Recap: North Yarmouth Academy Comes Up Short

North Yarmouth Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Dirigo Cougars, falling 97-16. The Panthers lost against the Cougars in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 68-40 score last time.

North Yarmouth Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Dirigo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

North Yarmouth Academy will challenge Poland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dirigo and Madison will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
