Basketball Recap: Riverton Silverwolves vs. Copper Hills Grizzlies
Riverton suffered their biggest loss since February 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Copper Hills Grizzlies, falling 95-73. The Silverwolves were probably out for revenge after losing 81-73 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Isaiah Reiser continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Copper Hills, going 13 for 22 on his way to 34 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. That's the most points Reiser has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Curtis, who went 5 of 9 en route to 17 points.
Riverton now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Copper Hills, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverton will take on Mountain Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully Mountain Ridge likes a good challenge. As for Copper Hills, they will head out to take on Bingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Copper Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.9 points per game this season.
