The Timpview Thunderbirds will take on the Clearfield Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Springville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Timpview, they should've done a better job of containing Madeline Van Brederode. Timpview walked away with a 3-1 win over Springville last Tuesday thanks in part to Van Brederode, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

Timpview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 26-24, 25-16.
