Basketball Game Preview: Dunkirk Marauders vs. Maple Grove Red Dragons

Dunkirk is on a four-game streak of home losses, Maple Grove a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Dunkirk Marauders will welcome the Maple Grove Red Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Dunkirk has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 178 points over their last three matches.

Last Friday, Dunkirk came up short against Fredonia and fell 65-56.

Meanwhile, Maple Grove fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Clymer Central on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 54-51.

Dunkirk's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Maple Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Dunkirk beat Maple Grove 66-59 in their previous meeting last Saturday. Will Dunkirk repeat their success, or does Maple Grove have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
