Baseball Recap: Bixby Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Bixby had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Bishop Kelley Comets by a score of 7-4. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Comets back in March, they had to take a 7-2 defeat.

Bixby's win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Kelley, their loss dropped their record down to 24-7.
