While Lexington might've come up empty on Friday, Elye Pearson wasn't going down without a fight. Pearson was dynamite, rushing for 99 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Pearson and Lexington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lewis County at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The game will pit Pearson up against the Panthers' star pass catcher Braylon Bean. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat.
