Baseball Game Preview: Geneseo Maple Leafs vs. Moline Maroons

Geneseo is 2-8 against Moline since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Maple Leafs will be playing at home against the Maroons at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Geneseo was able to grind out a solid win over Macomb, taking the game 9-5. The Maple Leafs haven't had any issues with the Bombers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Moline sidestepped Dunlap for a 3-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Maroons.

Geneseo's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Moline, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Geneseo took their victory against Moline when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-2 score. Do the Maple Leafs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Maroons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
