Baseball Recap: North Pole Patriots vs. Colony Knights

North Pole fell victim to Colony and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They suffered a rough 13-0 loss at the hands of the Colony Knights. North Pole has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Pole saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Simeon Langer, who went 1-for-2 with a double.

On Colony's side, Kaesen Buzby made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Buzby was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

In other batting news, Cody Otto was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Nate Wilson was another key contributor, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases.
