Softball Recap: Marlboro County Comes Up Short

Marlboro County fell victim to Aynor and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Blue Jackets, falling 14-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Blue Jackets: they've now lost seven in a row.

Marlboro County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Aynor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

While Marlboro County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
