Davidson Day had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Winston Salem Christian Lions.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-15.

Davidson Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lilly Marinelli, who had seven aces and five digs. Those seven aces gave Marinelli a new career-high. Reese Mitchell was another key player, getting six digs and four aces.
