Baseball Recap: Cedar Cliff Has No Trouble Against Mifflin County

Cedar Cliff got themselves on the board against Mifflin County on Monday, but Mifflin County never followed suit. They blew past the Huskies 7-0. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Jaden Miller looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025.

At the plate, Blake Secrest was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025. Ian Ripple was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Cedar Cliff's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Mifflin County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Cedar Cliff will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair will be back at it again later today.
