Mitchell had won five straight on the road, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 13-1 to make it six. They blew past the River Ridge Royal Knights 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Mitchell had a senior duo take command as Emma Hatzistefanou had 23 assists and seven digs and Lily Unger had 12 digs and two aces. Hatzistefanou has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more assists the last four times she's played.

As for River Ridge, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since October 17, 2024.

Despite the loss, River Ridge still got an impressive performance from Vicki Dhima, who had 12 digs and 11 assists.

Mitchell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Cypress Creek on the 24th. As for River Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
