Softball Recap: East Ridge Victorious

The matchup between East Ridge and Horizon on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Knights came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 12-8. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Molly O'Hara, who scored three runs and stole four bases. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lilly Land, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

East Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Horizon, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-3.

East Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-3 win against Cornerstone Charter Academy on the 10th. As for Horizon, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Dr. Phillips on the 9th.
