Soccer Recap: Richwoods Takes a Loss

Richwoods's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 3-0 to the Morton Potters. While losing is never fun, Richwoods can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Morton are ranked 34th).

This is the second loss in a row for Richwoods and nudges their season record down to 7-4-1. As for Morton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-2.

Richwoods didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Champaign Central on the 16th. As for Morton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-0 win against Pekin on the 16th.
