There's no place like home for Kerman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Exeter Monarchs on Thursday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Monarchs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

Kerman took Exeter into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 27-25, 25-17, 20-25, 15-7.

Kerman found their leader in freshman Alicia Valle, who had ten digs and two assists. Belinda Garcia also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Kerman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last nine contests.
