Volleyball Recap: Waynedale Golden Bears vs. New Philadelphia Quakers
Waynedale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the New Philadelphia Quakers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Golden Bears haven't been shut out since back in September.
The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10.
Waynedale now has a losing record at 8-9. As for New Philadelphia, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Waynedale is on the road again on Tuesday to play Dalton at 7:00 p.m. As for New Philadelphia, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Tuslaw on the 5th.
