Cupertino won the last time they faced Santa Clara and Natalie Baker did her part to make sure it happened again. The Pioneers blew past the Bruins 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Baker, who had 23 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Cupertino never let Santa Clara on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-21.

The victory made it two in a row for Cupertino and bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Santa Clara, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Cupertino wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Saratoga on the 25th. As for Santa Clara, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Gunn on the 25th.
