Recap: Cedaredge Bruins vs. Flatirons Academy Bison
On Saturday, Cedaredge was beaten by Flatirons Academy 76-43. Cedaredge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-22.
Despite the loss, Cedaredge still got an impressive performance from Logan Tullis, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Brooks, who scored 10 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Cedaredge and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Flatirons Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedaredge's road trip will continue as they head out to face Vail Christian at 3:30 p.m. on December 9th. As for Flatirons Academy, they will face off against Gilpin County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Gilpin County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
