Softball Game Preview: Olympus Titans vs. Highland Rams

For the second straight game, Olympus will face off against Highland. The Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Rams at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Olympus is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Olympus is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Highland get on the board and left with a 25-0 win on Wednesday. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Charlie Turner looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jaedin Mugleston, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adi Comer, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Olympus always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .686. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Olympus pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
