Basketball Game Preview: Lehi Pioneers vs. Lone Peak Knights

Lehi is 2-8 against Lone Peak since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lehi Pioneers will host the Lone Peak Knights at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Lehi came up short against Skyridge and fell 54-44.

Meanwhile, Lone Peak waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 50-46 W against the Cavemen.

Lone Peak's win came from a few key players Lehi will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Logan Brimhall, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Enoch Mitchell, who earned nine points.

Lehi's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Lone Peak, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Lehi didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lone Peak in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 65-61 win. Does Lehi have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lone Peak turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
