Baseball Recap: California City Ravens vs. Boron Bobcats
Boron typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday California City proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-1 back in March.
Blake Moore made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, Dakoda Kusmit was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
