Softball Recap: South Garner Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for South Garner's offense. They came up short against the Willow Spring Storm on Tuesday, falling 18-0. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Storm recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

South Garner's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Willow Spring, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Looking ahead, South Garner will host Corinth Holders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Willow Spring, they will venture away from home to challenge Apex at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Apex is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.
