Mount Paran Christian entered their tilt with Lake Nona on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0.

Lake Nona lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Olivia Tome, who had 14 assists and three digs.

Mount Paran Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Lake Nona, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Mount Paran Christian will take on Riviera Prep in a tournament on Saturday. As for Lake Nona, they will take on Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
