Baseball Recap: Windsor Central Comes Up Short

Windsor Central suffered their closest defeat since May 23, 2025 on Friday. They fell just short of the Norwich Tornadoes by a score of 10-8. The Black Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tornadoes earlier this season, when they won 9-4.

Windsor Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Norwich, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor Central will welcome Binghamton at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. As for Norwich, they will take on Johnson City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tornadoes are on a four-game streak of home losses, and the Wildcats a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
