Basketball Game Preview: A.J. Ellender Patriots vs. Bossier Bearkats

A.J. Ellender is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They skirted past Opelousas 49-46. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Patriots' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Tigers are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Bossier beat Plaquemine 48-39 on Tuesday.

Bossier's win bumped their record up to 22-16. As for A.J. Ellender, their victory bumped their record up to 19-12.

A.J. Ellender might still be hurting after the 62-36 loss they got from Bossier in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can A.J. Ellender avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
