Adding to the longest winning streak in Chicago Catholic - Blue this week, Mount Carmel beat St. Rita 24-3. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

Providence Catholic led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Gordon Tech.

St. Rita's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. TOMMY MISTER has thrown for 580 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while JULIAN CRUM has 12 catches for 230 yards. MISTER also leads the league in rushing with 586 yards.

The most important game in Chicago Catholic - Blue this week will be the match up between Loyola Academy and Mount Carmel. The Ramblers enters the contest ranked seventh in the state, while Frank Lenti's team ranks first.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Loyola Academy takes on the Caravan. John Holecek's team has allowed 47 points this season, while Mount Carmel has given up 31. The Ramblers allowed 3 points last week as they defeated Brother Rice.
