Edgewood and Pomona are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Lions will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. Pomona took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Edgewood, who comes in off a win.

Edgewood proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 14) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bassett, sneaking past 3-2.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Pomona's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of La Puente on Wednesday. Pomona haven't had much luck with La Puente recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Pomona's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Edgewood, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-5-1.

Everything went Edgewood's way against Pomona in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, as Edgewood made off with a 5-1 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
