North Raleigh Christian Academy barely beat Charlotte Country Day School the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights put the hurt on the Buccaneers with a sharp 15-5 win on Tuesday. Considering the Knights have won seven matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sarah Vance was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Knox, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

North Raleigh Christian Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

The victory made it two in a row for North Raleigh Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-12. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Charlotte Country Day School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
