Recap: Providence Prep Rams vs. Live Oak Classical Falcons
The Providence Prep Rams lost against the Live Oak Classical Falcons back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Providence Prep was beaten by Live Oak Classical 51-23. Providence Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Live Oak Classical's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Sriram, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Pitts, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
The last time Providence Prep won on the road was back on Tuesday. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 3-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.7 points per game. As for Live Oak Classical, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Prep will be home for the holidays to greet Holy Trinity Catholic at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Live Oak Classical, they will stay at home for another game and welcome First Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. First Baptist will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
