Baseball Recap: Jackson Center Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Jackson Center won the last time they faced Bradford and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Railroaders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

The team relied heavily on Blake Noble, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Preston Serr was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Jackson Center pushed their record up to 8-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bradford, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.
